Can you make a gallon of BB to keep around the house for quick sanitation of brew stuff? Or does it lose its effectiveness?

I thought B-brite was only a cleaner... (?)

edit: I see that it is both a sanitizer and a cleaner. My bad. Anyway, I never tried leaving it sit around back when I used it, so I guess I really have nothing of value to say here.

I have seen it advertised as both cleanser and sanitizer, but the instructions on the tub say it is just a cleanser, and don't mention using it for sanitizing at all.

Ok, so Skipping B-brite, since some say it sanitizes and others say it doesn't....
And I know this is a can of worms....What is the best sanitizer? Star San, One Step, Idophor, PBW? All input welcome.

Look for a poll on this subject. There has got to be one.
