Beer bottle reseal?

My beers have been bottling for a little over a week. Last night I went to check the progress and opened one slightly. They was a hiss and then a resealed the bottle. I never took the bottle cap off of the bottle. I was wondering if I lost all the carbonation by doing this.

You certainly lost carbonation. How much? Thats all speculation at this point. Your beer is drinkable, why not open it up and drink it? It won't be fully carbonated but you'll get an idea of how it tastes, and how flat beer tastes.

I refrigerated it and tried it the next night. It tasted like Zombie Dust and was still carbonated.
