So... Beavertown's website lists the malts that are used in the Black Betty IPA. However, they don't list what percentage each type of malt contributes to the total grain bill. Furthermore, a couple of the types of malts listed aren't available at my LHBS, so I did some research and made some substitutions based on what is available to me. I used Brewer's Friend to formulate a grain bill that result in similar ABV, IBU, and colour. But, being new to this, I'd like to double check with you guys to make sure I'm not overdoing it on some of the specialty grains. Does this grain bill look reasonable for a Black IPA, or should the specialty malts before dailed down a bit? Thanks for your feedback!
