I have had a barley wine aging in a bourbon barrel for a year in the basement. The basement stays about 66 degrees. Yesterday we made our annual batch of wine and it's fermenting in the basement as well.

We are kegging the barley wine this coming Saturday and I'm not sure if raising the basement temp to 70 today will hurt the barley wine over the course of a week or not. I'm thinking not so much but...

Any thoughts from the veteran brewers?

It's not really fermenting anymore after this long. It's just aging in barrel. I don't think the 70 degrees will have any effect on it at this point.
