happens all the time at Sante

Ah, that's the catch. I go to Sante a handful of times a year. And that's more than any other brewery.

There is no joy in my life anymore. Only darkness.

I remember those days like it was just yesterday, you would roll in the back door about 10 minutes before closing....
"misty water colored memories, of the way we were"
--sniff--
:(

And arren was just complaining that this thread was dead over in the SD thread...
Ha, looks like I was well wrong.

Wish I could've stayed in Oakland a lot longer (and, at the very least, met up with a couple of you *****), but that first night was an utter shitshow. Beer Rev, Annex, Trappist, and some rando bar that had PVW 23 and the entire BTAC lineup for incredibly cheap. Not sure how I survived through yesterday morning.

I would like to vouch for AJ's market and their spicy chicken wraps. I get one almost every time I come down... some day, I'm going to go in there and have them grill me up a ribeye and bring it to Sante.

That's my favorite gas station/local market in the world. Insane selection of food, drink, and beer, reasonable prices, and great deli sandwiches and hot food. Just ridiculous.

Couldn't agree more. Was my go to "bottle shop" when I was living in Aptos. They could totally mark up prices on beer and food, but they don't. My dad used to work with AJ back in the day doing construction. Awesome dude.

Looks like KRBC is coming to the Bay Area. From the City Beer Store email that just went out:

July 11-13 Mindful Distributors Launch...
Join us to welcome a new distribution company based in Oakland-Mindful Distributors. We will offer beers from their impressive portfolio on draft and in package, including: Kern River Brewing Company, Six Point Brewery, and more. Additional details on the way.....
