I am admittedly biased but I would add Lupulo (Downtown SC) to the list that others have already mentioned. I am somewhat perplexed why it doesn't get more love here on TB but I'm guessing many of you probably skip downtown all together.

Lupulo is legit. I've been impressed with the first two beers I've had from Humble Sea as well. . .

I'm a fan of New Bohemia too, but they aren't doing any hype styles (yet). Delightful lagers and Germans styles.

Is Humble Sea the place next to Upper Crust Pizza?

So I heard that Serpentine was a sister restaurant to Slow Club and that is where the burger came from (originally created/cooked by Chris Kronner himself). Is this true? If so, can you make me one?

Also, this was a decent review of the burger and spot on:

They had the same owner, Erin Rooney. She recently sold Serpentine & the new owner is currently renovating the space. Kronner was a chef there(as was Danny Bowien), but he was there before my time.
The burger would be easy to recreate. Prather ranch beef, acme bun, b&b pickles, pickled red onion. I'd be happy to grill you up one.

GOOD! Because I was trying to research the current price and even though Yelp states $13.50, their website states that they now charge $26!!!!????

What in the general F?
That almost has to be a typo. We should go there when they reopen. I've still got plenty of friends on the staff ;)

Damn I didn't even know Danny worked there. I was a wild MCF fan boy a few years ago. I remember I planned a whole NYC trip just to go to MCF NY and Cantina. RIP the cantina. Their burger was amazing. They did a pop up in SF last year with that burger on the menu and I think Wes Burger(next to MCF SF for those wondering) made their patties for it.

Got to take it back to when Mission Burger was still kicking. That microgranulated beef...

damn #meatcolumns
now you're making me wanna go to duc loi for bahn mi. I remember my end of the school week routine during my first year at SFSU was hitting duc loi before going home or acquiring a bahn mi and beer to wander around with in the city.

So which one you coastal folks are hosting the impromptu **** this heat bottle share?

I'm bringing my new born home tomorrow and it'll be 100 at my house and no AC. Can't wait!

Congrats dude! Well, at least on here ;)

Hit the ****! And some Pedialyte or rustic Saisons for yourself

"Breastmilk is 88 percent water."

My Cellarmaker trips are a no go now. Spend all my brewery time with the kid at Harmonic or Barebottle.

1) Congrats. 2) It's going to suck/be awesome/be surreal regardless, so might as well have ****** weather when you won't notice the difference anyway.
Extreme heatwaves make for interesting settings in movies, so why not lifelong memories?

Now I wanna watch Do the Right Thing and Die Hard 3.
