Battle of the Beer Sommeliers

I recently came across the Doemens Bier Sommelier program offered through the Siebel Insitutie of of Technology. Most of my knowledge for beer styles and service has come through the Cicerone Certification. Any thoughts on which program is better? More widely used and accepted? More recognized?
