I have a strong honey wheat about ready for the bottle. I wanted to split the 5 gallons and make half a raspberrry honey wheat. I was just going to get the extract from my LHBS and add to the priming syrup for the half batch.

Will this work? Is there a better way? Thanks
 
1 oz. of HBS extract to 2.6 gallons was a nice ratio. Evident but not controlling. Wound up at 8.7% ABV. Oh well, live and learn.
 
Yeah...don't overdue it with the extract. 1-1.5oz per 5 gals typically. Otherwise, you risk having an overpowering fake berry taste. It will mellow with time, but I would suppose you don't want to bottle condition you wheat beer for a few mo
