I am an engineer with extensive manufacturing experience and a passion for brewing beer. I have been brewing beer kits for about 2 years now but I am looking to make a serious move to a more serious operation.

The next obvious move is all - grain brewing but my aspirations are higher. I want to own and operate a brewery.

Considering I live in Canada, my options are limited but it's possible to bring a dream to life.

Any advice?

Always good to have a dream Bob :)

Enjoy the route into all grain first but I do look forward to your post in overcoming some of the kit issues to keep the price down along the way with the mechincal knowledge you have.

2nd batch in the books. Target SG was ~1.060 but registered 1.042. I think I will try multi-stage mashing next time. Also, I will have DME on hand to top it up.

Any advice out there?
