Hey Everybody! So I have five gallons of cider coming along nicely. I was thinking about doing a tea and lemon to make it easy to drink during the summer. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice because this is something I havent done before. I was thinking:

3 bags of tea (I was thinking South African Rooibos tea to get a little woodiness, cigar, kinda vibe along with the fruit) in like half a cup of water to make a really strong tea and then add that along with

2 lemons zested in an ounce of vodka

Any thoughts on proportions, tea suggestion, ratios? All advice appreciated!

Sounds good, but might need more tea to get the flavor. You might also want some black tea for astringency.

I would do 5 rooibos and 2 black and make 1 cup of tea. Make it strong!

Do you think that will be too strong or no? Sounds like a good idea though! Will let you know how it goes

I don't know :) I think rooibos always seems a little mild.
