I have looked around and didn't see any threads with details on this one (only a few people asking about it) so for posterity, I'm posting my project (in case others are considering it). This is a pin lock set up, and with the collar it looks like I can easily get 2 in there with the CO2, and 3 if I moved the CO2 outside.

It's the Black Arctic King 5.0 from Walmart (currently $148 - with free shipping). It took about 2 days for it to arrive.

The rest I got off of Amazon (with the exception of the kegs, which I got a pack of 4 from Adventures in Homebrewing for $109). I'll spare the full parts list, and build details, since a lot of that information is available in other threads, but I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone may have on this particular freezer/setup.

It'll be a 2 keg setup for now, but I only have one "plumbed" right now since I only had one beer to keg. I'll have a second ready in a week or so and will get it plumbed. And I may use the room for the 3rd keg for cold storage or eventually hook up a 3rd faucet.

I used a 1x10 for the collar, and mounted it to the original hinges. I used small pieces of scrap 1/4" plywood to mount the lid to the collar (using the original hinge holes) in the back, and used double sided tape on the front. I wanted something that wasn't quite a permanent as liquid nails or a silicone - since I may change my mind on how I have it all set up (or if I move to a larger setup, I can return this freezer to it's original configuration and sell it without any extra holes or glue residue). I still need to solve a few issues like sealing/insulating the collar - but the build and setup took me maybe 2 hours to build start to finish, and is done just in time for new years eve!

Happy New Years! And hopefully this quick post helps people with this freezer if they are considering it while it's on sale.

Daniel

Say, do you have a picture with 2 or even 3 kegs actually in this freezer? I just got mine home and unpacked it, had a look inside and its looking a bit less spacious than yours.
