So I had a bit of apple cider left over from thanxgiving and I am kind of new at the whole wine making thing so I thought I would give it a try and make some cider wine. I put only a half cup of sugar into the batch because I was only making a gallon and like I said I'm new so I was just kind of experimenting. I let it set till it stopped percolating and cleared up and tested it out it wasn't half bad, a little on the dry side. I bottled some up just to let it sit because I don't drink alot of wine but I'm starting to drink a little more, I'm hoping it gets better as it ages.

Just wondering if you had any good recipes for a good cider wine

Apple cider is pretty easy. All I do is get English cider yeast and toss it in for about a week. Then I strain and filter it set it for a few days so it settles. Then filter into 12oz bottles throw it in the fridge and call it good. My girlfriend loves it when I make it that way.
