LMAO The kid's a drummin' fool. I like it.
It's a good outlet for extra energy and kids have plenty to burn.
When I was a restless teenager we had a guy replace a portion of our porch. He gave me $20 and asked me to bust up the concrete with a sledgehammer while he did the forms and pouring. I helped him cart off the junk later and recall it was some of the best exercise I ever got. Slept like a rock for a couple days afterward, too. During late summers as a teen I'd bale hay and straw on a friend's farm. Hard but honest work that would wear out a pair of jeans and gloves in a day but well worth what they paid me.

When my daughter was a little younger, she was banging away on her drumset a what sounded like good rockin, had her headphones on, asked her what she was playing.

She was playing a Ramones tune, was impressed with her drumming and good taste(esp for a kid in this decade).

No problems with her mom, she was a player in the early '80s punk scene around NYC & jearsy.

When I was 8, I was jumping my bike off rickety, makeshift ramps, trying to be Evel Knievel. Ended up going a whole 'nother route in life though.
