I am pricing my draft system and learntobrew.com uses these as an upgrade:

Learn To Brew: Chrome Faucet Self Closing

Should I just special order the perlicks? My fridge will be in the garage, used 4 days a week.

My instinct and reading here says perlicks. learntobrew.com was the first email response I got back with a price for the 4 tap setup (minus cornies since INSCO rocked my world 8 kegs, $160 shipped, loose ends)

Thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Mr. Peanut says...order the perlicks.

Those you're looking at will stick just as bad as normal taps (I speak from experience).

Nifty, but that still won't keep them from drying out and getting sticky.

I screwed up and picked up rear sealers on my towers. They stick, no matter how you use them.

Ha. LTB is 1 of my 2 LHBS.

I have nothing more to add.

Is this referencing the idea forwarded by the guy at LTB, that "the bar used perlicks on all the taps and the orings constantly leaked and would break."

I am still thinking it is the way to go... so many folks can not be wrong, right? I didn't just say that, did I? It will take a 4 tap, thru the door set up to about $460 shipped.

I have a non perlick, now I have to go and buy a perlick, go perlick and save money on the long run.
