Anyone use one of those CO2 tank leak stoppers?

So it screws into the tank outlet and you attach the regulator over that?
Yes, that right. I guess it's an alternative to the standard procedure of changing out the flat gasket periodically.
It's always a good day when I learn something new. Can't obviously give you an opinion about it. I have several regulators, haven't had any difficulty with them sealing to the tanks.

So you just use the flat orings? How often do you change then out? How hard do you crank down on that brass nut that attaches the regulator to the tank?
In a couple cases the seal attached to the stem that screws to the tank is sufficient. In the case of the seal, it's not really an o-ring, it's a washer.
How tight? Very snug, but not so absolutely tight that it's difficult to get the nut loose. And as far as changing them, never have in 2 1/2 years. I suspect at some point they'll wear out, but not yet.
So you replace one Junction with two? That sounds like like a terrible idea. Perfect example of a solution in search of a problem. The flat o rings are cheap to replace and last forever. I’m still using one that came with a used regulator I bought about 10 years ago. Get a wrench and crank down on it.
Where I exchange my tanks, they provide a new o-ring with each one. I change it out every time I change the tank, and have had no issues with leaks (from the tank at least). Sometimes they can be a ****** to get out of the connection especially if I've ramped down too hard on the nut. This looks like something that's asking for trouble if you don't have good tight connections on both sides.
