Anyone use a table?

Does anyone have an experience with something like these tables in the link below?

Seems like this would work to hold 3 15 gallon kettles. Mine from Bru Gear are arriving today. I was going to build one or order one but the table idea was presented to me by one of my buddies.

Are you going electric? The second one is best for NG or LP.

A lot of people use the stainless tables. Check your local Home Depot as they may have them in store, about the same price and you'll know what it looks like when you pay for it. Reviews suggest that UPS or fedEx is not exactly gentle with those tables or large annoying objects.

I'll be electric yes. That's why I'm thinking the table may be perfect. I can mount my pumps on the lower level and be able to keep all kinds of things down there as well. I feel like the weight wouldn't be an issue for a stainless table.

I'll definitely check at Home Depot.

Then you're golden. I would put some kind of mat underneath the BK and HLT personally. HD also has these table blanks. They're circular and they are project boards basically. They are on the isle where you find char legs and the likes. Nearby moulding, the 2x4 plywood panels, and stairs.

I'll definitely look for that. I was thinking some kind of silicon or cork mat. It says max weight is 330 lbs. I wonder if that is pushing it with 3 15 gallon kettles and pumps and all..... hmmm

Somewhere around there. But then you have to factor in the sparge water, the kettles and the grains....... so it starts to add up.

WebstaurantStore.com has a huge selection of stainless steel tables in 14, 16, and 18 gauge stainless. Their prices appear to be better than Amazon. I purchased a 24x30", 18 gauge table from them and found it fairly easy to mount my RIMS tube, plate chiller, pump, and control box to it. It also looks great next to the stainless kettles...

Wow! Fantastic! Thanks for sharing! I am needing to put 3 kettles for a single tier HERMS system. I'm just going to have to research the weight capabilities of the tables.


Edit: After reading this is the perfect thing. Total weight capabilities is 700-800 lbs for the 24x60" table. This should work perfect!

My brew system started as a chefs table and I love it. The casters are usually the a weak link and could be removed if needed. You could always beef the table up with more supports or watch kitchen auctions for a commercial build heavy duty table. Either way you will love the table!

I have the brewers hardware table and it is awesome! I am using propane now but will move to electric shortly. The pump mounts are fantastic and the locking wheels are a must have. I want to end up with a bottom draining BK which might not work with this stand but I don't think I will loose money on it.

I use a stainless table myself, I felt a lot better about the quality from the web restaurant store table then I did the one on amazon. I had the legs cut down 11" also.

I have no complaints about the table, it works great. I move between indoor and outdoor brewing for the winter/summer and it works great for both. Its the perfect size, not to big or small.

I would buy again.

Perfect! That's the exact table I got! I did get the casters too so it will be a little higher.
