Ordered one of their scratch n' dent kettles with welded fittings, but they gave no estimate in terms of delivery.

Anyone dealt with them and have input on how long their turnaround is? Trying to plan my next brew(s), but I can't go full batch AG until it arrives....:(

Never heard of them before. They're based in California so for orders within the US shipping shouldn't take too long.

A look around their website shows handling takes 1-4 business days (see link: http://www.brewinternational.com/shipping-returns/). Depending on how it's shipped, my guess would be to add an extra day or 2 for delivery.

I'll have to take a better look at these guys. If they sell hard-to-find things for cheaper even with international shipping, it may be worth my while...

I have ordered from Brewinternational a couple of times and they seem to ship pretty fast, I ordered 2 sight glasses and received my order in 3 days. Just FYI

I have ordered from BREW International once and their shipping was good. I did have a problem with a kettle that had welded fittings as the inside was not welded so there was a place for particles to get caught. For this reason I returned the kettle and am going a different direction.

Oh lovely. Their return policy has a little line saying that all sales of items with "cosmetic damage" are final. So if my kettle arrives with the welding problem that JoelE describes, I'm hosed. Off to see if I can cancel the order before it ships...

Did you cancel?

Yeah, they don't have a phone #, so I sent a message from their site. Someone apparently saw it and grabbed my order as it became ready to ship.

I upgraded to the non-cosmetic damage version of the same kettle. If the welds are sub-par, then at least this way I can return it. Hopefully it will ship tomorrow or Tuesday.

I ordered a sight glass from them. Shipping was quick. I got the wrong size and noticed that they were close to me. Drove down there to exchange it with no issues. FYI. It's a fairly small place and only saw one guy doing a bit of everything. So, that's probably why there is a delay with a response.
