Anyone made a Pliny single IPA?

I've made Pliny per the original recipe. I'm planning to try and copy the flavor in a single IPA. Has anyone already brewed it to prove the recipe is correct?
Would like to compare it to mine
 
isn't that basically what blind pig is? there's a few clone recipes on the site here
 
I have taken another double IPA recipe and scaled it from 1.080 to 1.055 using Brewsmith and it worked out great. Same flavor and balance as the bigger one. Is that what you're going for?

Actually, I think that's what RR IPA is. The standard one, not blind pig. I've always thought the hop profiles were similar. I called it Pliny lite.
