My most favorite IPA of all time. I've only got 4 all-grain batches under my belt, so I'm still a little new.
Has anyone ever figured this one out? I've seen the ingredients listed on Sierra Nevada's website and used the same grain bill, yeast, "finishing hops", but I used Warrior hops for bittering instead of Bravo hops. So I just made my hop schedule and ammounts, and the grain bill, to match Hop Hunter ABV and IBU's. It's got about 6 more days to ferment, and my gut is telling me that I need to add more dry hops (more than the one ounce of Simcoe I put in a week ago; it's a ten gallon batch) Don't have anymore Simcoe, thinking about putting in at least 3 ounces of Citra just because I do like citrusy IPA's, unless anyone has another recommendation for dry hop?
Any recommendations? Or anybody have their recipe to share?
