Any use for an expired can of hopped extract?

A buddy of mine found an old can tucked away in the garage. He has no use for it. It expired January 2011 from what I can tell.
 
If you have any fruit trees that are flowering, dissolve it in warm water and pour around the roots. It will give the tree a big energy boost and help fruit production.
 
I have some wheat extract from 08 that I keep in the fridge. I use it for my wheat beer starters. Works fine. It doesn't have any mold on it, and besides it gets boiled for 15 minutes. I use it for that....
