I got some Notty doing its thing right now,
Came home from work and it was doing quite well!

In fact, it was doing better than that!
Had the bucket and lid looking quite fat.

Those Nottingham beast had been doing their job
And blew off the lid to the fermenter,
with the space they had robbed.

So I cleaned up the mess and went about my way,
Checked on those fellows a little later today.

Once again the lid was swollen,
I gently gave the airlock a small pull'n.

Whoosh! Went the CO2 out in rush!
The lid settled as if had been crushed.

The only step left was to remove the lid,
And hope the pressure released kept my wort well hid.

So what do I say about this brewing adventure?
Bring me some advice and I might be indentured! :D

Well Mr Goat Hearder, your poems has taken over your time, to make it all rhyme. Maybe you should occupy your time with movie, to keep your mind off those mindless fermentee oozies. LOL

You might just be right
My wife not in sight
the distance does us no good
I think that is understood
Lov'n you today
Just as yesterday

This is fun
My only one
You make my days
Happy lost in a haze
Where are you my girl?
I'm lost in the swirl
I love you so much
But can't even touch
The feel of you
I need so much.

Right............I can't even spell space shttle. :mug:

Your blood alcohol level was probably too high for spell check. :drunk:

A blow off tube might do the trick.
I'd hate you to drink beer that would make you sick.

Put it in StarSan over night.
Check in the morning, it should be alright. :ban:

^^^

Thank you Stan for the plan.

I forgot to say in the poem,
So you would not have known.

A blow off tube had been tried indeed,
But it couldn't keep up, with the yeasts speed.
So I removed the lid and gently placed it back on.
Seemed to work well, the volcano is gone.

Today fermentation has slowed down,
The lid reinstalled, blow off tube going to town.

Everything has calmed and all is alright.
Just as you predicted, thanks for the insight!
