My wife is being pretty kind to me for my soon to be 40th B-day and is "letting" me build out a keezer. I'm pretty new to brewing but really enjoying it. This will be my first attempt at kegging too. Here is the setup that I'm looking at - followed by my questions... Thanks in advance!

* Kegco Brand New Homebrew 5 Gallon Strap Keg - High Gloss Stainless Steel Exterior Finish
* T752HP - 2-Product Dual Pressure Kegerator Co2 Regulator

Does anyone have experience buying from beveragefactory?
Any thoughts on Kegco ball lock kegs?
Are all ball lock kegs the same -ie; finding replacement seals; poppets etc; connections etc?
NorthernBrewer has new ball lock kegs but the description says that the poppets are not removable or replaceable and must be cleaned in place...? How to you clean them?
Lastly, any votes on just going out and buying used keg? If so, any great places to buy from?

I bought my stuff from KegConnection.
Ball lock parts are very easy to find.
Used kegs are just as good as new.......I think most people on here buy used.
Check Craigslist....I got mine for $35 ea with all new orings.

I just bought 4 used ball lock kegs from kegglebrewing.com with shipping for $145. That worked out to be $36 per keg with shipping. All four were in awesome shape with pressure when I unboxed them.
Terry was awesome to deal with too!

I've been buying my kegs from kegglebrewing as well. I've been getting the premium kegs. New poppets, o-rings and polished. For the price, I think it's a good deal.

Edit

It looks like they don't have the premium kegs anymore.

Check out Beverage Element; really good prices on their new kegs ($100 each), and they stock new 5 gallon kegs with the dual rubber handles ($108) like the kind you see on refurbs.

Better yet, the poppets are removeable on their new kegs. I've been putting together an order and this is the best price for new kegs I've found so far

I found a coupon online, "kegit2012" gets you $5 off - not much, but it helps a bit I suppose
