after hearing all the great things about kegging I am ready to take the plunge. I've got an old fridge in the basement that only gets used for beer, so that is going to be my kegerator. I'd like to have it set up for 2 kegs with 2 perlick taps with at least a 5lb co2 tank (for now:D). With Cristmass around the corner, I was wondering if I should start putting it all together peice by peice or go with a kit? Is there a big savings with a kit? I have a large familly and we pick names out of a hat so we don't have to buy for everyone. Our price range is about 50-60$. Is there something in that price range keg related but not included in kits like this?

I'd like to ask for something keg related and I can't really think of anything else I need at the moment brew related, especially in that price range. any ideas would be most helpfull. thanks :mug:

With a little shopping 2 perlick Faucets can be had for around $60.00 well worth the bucks ;) They make great stocking stuffers!

You might be better off shopping around for the best deals on Kits right now.

thats what I was thinking, and a lot of kits come with the perlick upgrade. probably cheaper than buying everything individually. can't think of anything else keg or even brew related I need in that price range. more kegs perhaps

You can always use more kegs!!
