Another Pittsburgh guy....

Hi there everyone!

I have just started brewing, and unlike most folks here, I will be doing most of my hanging out in the Cider section, as that's what I'm into.

I moved to the Pittsburgh area about a year ago, and now that I have a basement, I'm putting my carboys to work!

I look forward to learning lots of stuff.

Welcome aboard. I liked beer, now I also like cider. Ed's right, try his apfelwein recipe. But you may want to block a couple days off your calendar.

Maybe we'll make a beer snob out of you yet.

I have tried probably 2 dozen beers over the years, from Coors to Sam Adams, to Kilt Lifter and a handful of homebrews.

I have yet to find a beer that I actually like enough to want to drink a bottle. We shall see, I suppose. My best friend was the same way until just before he turned 30.
