Just bought two faucets, a couple shanks, and a bitter kit... so now I have (most of) the parts for my kegerator, and soon I'll have some beer to fill it with.

Forrest, thanks for being one of the absolute best retailers I've used. I looks forward to ordering more stuff from austin homebrew... just as soon as I talk the wife into it ;)

because I didnt get the 1/4 fitting. is the 1/4 fitting just an alternative to a tailpiece? because if it is I could've totally not bought elbow tails and saved money :(

i think the 1/4" fitting is the tailpiece, so you are fine. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

It's either/or. A tailpiece goes on the shank regardless, but elmetal may feel that he overspent and got the elbow tails.

Look on the bright side - it may help you make a cleaner installation.

well, I am making a tap tower out of 3" pvc so with a 2 inch shank an elbow piece os sort of needed.

question is, will I get foaming on the elbow shanks?

(I also need to upgrade my lines to 10')

last question, where can I get tubing that will handle hot water? I have a system where my brewpot will heat spargewater and through the ball valve I was thinking heat resistant tubing down to a makshift sparge arm to fly sparge so I can control sparge flow and everything

thanks

(I have plenty of vinyl tubing that gets white after boiling water gets through. I just want to kn9w if there's something that won't affect beer taste)

Silicone tubing will handle the heat....

now the question is:

what else should I buy to make the buy worthwhile (shipping) since all I need is 3 feet of silicone tubing... lol

I just started a new thread for this so Forrest's link to the sale will be in the first message and folks can find it.

If we leave this message as the last message in this thread, folks will know where to find the new thread. It is located at:

Is there any way to combine this with the upcoming 10% off for my state? I'm planning to place an order once my state comes up since I need a bunch of more things and want to save on shipping

I got the 525 today . I used my state sale to get it not part of the group buy . My only question is this one the P on the faucet is etched and the others that I have are engraved . The engraved ones were when they first came out and then there was a period where no one could them. So they must have changed the production?

Ohooooohhhhh you guys over at AHS are sneaky sneaky bastards! I went to the site to buy four perlicks thinking "Hey! I'm gonna save $20! Yeah!" and ended up spending over $400!! Damn I love payday! Thanks for all of your help and big thanks to JB for helping me choose everything for my keezer! You guys rock! :rockin:

Are the creamer's completely sold out? I ordered earlier today and went with the 525 since there was no "add to cart" option for the 575.

Hey folks... STOP POSTING IN THIS THREAD

Every post makes Forrest's post with the actual link to the sale that much harder to find.
Any body that looks at the last (THIS) message in this thread can find the link.

Please go to the link below to post questions and comments. That way the very first post in the thread contains the link to the sale. The first message in the following thread contains the link to the sale:
