Hello and greetings from Oregon.

My Name is Nick and I am a graphic designer for a beer, wine and natural beverage distributorship in Eugene Oregon. I have gotten into homebrewing in the last year and a half and am ready to make the jump to all grain recipes in the near future.

I hope to contribute as well as learn from the vets here and continue to improve the quality and consitency of my brews.

Nick

Not too familiar with the Eugene area, but Ninkasi Brewing Co. makes some fine ales. The Cascade Brewers Society doesn't seem to be active any more.

Now I expect to see some incredible labels from you!;)

I will back you up on that. I tried their brew Otis at the Holiday Ale Fest and it was very good.

Welcome to the site Nick. There are a lot of homebrewers down in your area (know from other site) so you should be able to build a good group of people to call on for tasting and advice.

:mug: Welcome Nick, I'm about 40 miles south of you in Drain. I've been brewing a year, got my first equipment for Xmas last year. I'm contemplating AG, just got to figure if an extra hour or two on brew day is worth it. Do you go to Vin & Vinter or Home Fermenter for supplies? :mug: Cornacopia is where I go for Research & Development, 17th & Lincoln. They have lots of different brews from different breweries.

I know a lot of those guys at CBS and they are still very active. Partied with them earlier this summer. They're a great group to hook up with ORNickJ.

Welcome by the way. And I'll third the Ninkasi accolades, great beer. Also, I'm sure you're familiar with The Beer Stein.

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome.

For supplies I go to both Valley Vintner and Home Fermenter Center, although I tend more time at Home Fermenter.

Very familiar with the Bier Stein. What's not to love - 850 bottled beers, ten rotating taps, amazing sandwiches and soups and awesome staff. I do a lot fo research there. I need to check out cornucopia, haven't been there in years.

I had not heard of Cascade brewers and will have to look into them. Thanks for the info.

I'm from Eugene too, but am currently residing in Juneau. I will be in Eugene from the 13th through the 22nd of December if you want to let me try your home brew, or meet up at the Bier Stein for a brew. :) Shoot me a pm if you are interested
