Another Marylander

Greetings everyone,

Just wanted to say hi, as I am new to the forum. I live in Elkridge, MD, which is just south of Baltimore and northeast of Columbia.

Started brewing about 4 years back, but then took a three year break.

I am getting back to brewing and I have an Imperial Stout and a cerveza-style in secondary. Going to brew a mead this weekend and am looking to start another brew, the weekend after next.

Looks like there is a lot of good information to be had here at HBT. Thanks.

No, I haven't gone AG yet. :cross:

I am still going with extract and specialty grains until I feel up to a bit more of a challenge (and work).

I saw the meeting at Duclaw, I'll have to see if my schedule allows it.

Welcome! We have a few MD brewers here already. You'll find a lot of people on here from MD/VA/NC.
There is nothing wrong with extract w/ specialty grains. You can make great beer with extract.
