Another is my beer infected thread...

I apologize, I know people have to get sick of these.

This is my first brew other than a horrible Mr Beer attempt a few years ago.

It is a wheat extract.

I have a feeling this is just yeast floating on top, but wanted to be sure. I am at 1 week.

It wasn't labeled as a dark wheat, just a basic German wheat. It did contain 1# of Munich though which from what I read could darken it a bit.

Recipe stated:
6.5lbs Wheat Extract
1/4lb Munich
1oz Hallertua

OG was 1.040

The container of Munich given had to be 1-1.5# though. It was half the size of one of the 2 containers of wheat. I didnt think about it and assumed my LHBS gave me the right amounts for the recipe they gave me.
