Well i guess this is my obligitory "hello peeps" thread. Very glad to have found these boards.

I haven't really been a fan of beer for very long. beer, to me, was beer. Be it a bud light, a guiness for an optimator. They just all tasted the same to me. Then one day not to long ago it just sort of happened. The beer light came on. Now not only do I notice the differences, but very much enjoy them. my experience with beer is slight, but i am trying new things about everyday.

My mom and I baught my father (a beer junky) a homebrew kit back in 2002 for christmas. he never used it, so I took it off his hands for my own use. Now I got my first ever batch fermenting right now. lots done wrong i am sure...but the process was fun. can't wait to improve and grow at homebrewing.

Anywho, nice to be here, and i hope to contribute (some day) help as i can as well as recieving.

Laters...chris

Welcome, and I' m sure once your Dad tastes your beer he will be pissed he never used his Christmas present! Hopefully he will contribute to your supplies in exchange for some brew.:drunk:

Hey there you hoser...I mean Poser.... :D

Welcome to the hobby and welcome to the forum.

Two things:

1) Your current setup will be just the beginning if you take to this hobby like the rest of us.

B) Uhhh... I forgot. I'm a few homebrews into the evening...let's see,,,what was I going to say?????

NOPE. I got nothing. :cross:

Welcome! Drunk as well.....
I hate you. I' m stuck at work. The closest thing to beer here is Xylene. Definitley not drinkable not to mention my patients probaly prefer me sober since it involves needles and them getting stuck with them. Doesn' t hurt me one bit though.:rockin: By the way what size are your ears stretched too. I made it to 7/8th before they made a rule at work about them. You know you are doing something right when you get your own rule. Now my earlobes look like cat anuses.

Well, I got them to 1 inch. But shortly after my daughter was born I took them out for good. She's close to the age when she starts reaching for things....I don't want my earlobes split in half! I'd rather have shriveled cat anuses!:rockin:

Drunk now as well....:tank:

Welcome to the forums...As far as you saying that the batch is screwed up...time for your first lesson....RDWHAHB- relax dont worry have a home brew, or a micro brew in your case. I am sure it will turn out well and you will love it. The beer you brew will be the best you have ever had.

I don't know what you look like, but I have 2 cats, and I'm pretty sure I can pick you out of a line-up now...
That' s kinda frightening that you have your cat' s anuses so well memorized. Now can you tell them apart from behind?:D
