24 hrs into my first brew allready innch and a half of foam on top and some solid on botom is this normal and thermometer on side of carboy reading 72 ?

great if its an ale yeast, even better if its belgian abbey. solids are normal.

probably getting close to too high though for avg strains.

It is a belgian yeast and its grain and extract mix ? Should move to garage to cool a lil ? Its in the house on tile floor now ?

Wrap a towel around the carbon and put a fan on it. That will cool it by about 5degrees

Note: WET towel. Otherwise you'll drive the temp higher rather than cooling. But you don't need to be concerned at all with cooling your Belgian. It'll perform well at your 72 and higher.

Well is subjective, it'll ferment just fine. But, you'll have a lot more bananas or clove than you might like.
