Hi All,

On my third batch now. I had gotten a truebrew set as a gift about 5 years ago and made the kit which came with it. Unfortunately it turned out only so-so and I put off brewing another batch until recently.

My second batch which I recently finished turned out well beyond my expectations. It's LuckNow IPA (from Maltose Express here in CT) and it's a partial grain kit. I was a bit intimidated working with the grains, but everything turned out great.

My 3rd batch, a Nut Brown Ale clone, is currently in the second fermenter with about 2 weeks to go. Can't wait to try it. (Go little yeast guys, go!)

I plan to complete a dozen or so partial grain/extract kits to work on the techniques and sponge up as much info before venturing on my own.

Ken

Welcome! I've been going to Maltose for about a year now. My hope is once I go AG I won't need to use them for much more anymore. While they are great people their prices are a bit high and they try to keep people buying their kits rather than moving to AG.

Regardless, welcome!
