Greetings all! In a region flush with great micro-breweries and brew-pubs, I'm keeping the tradition of brewing going strong (if you count one batch per quarter keeping it going
)
Been brewing since 2000 where I "apprenticed" with a good friend of mine in his homebrew laboratory. I'm grateful for the lot of good info on this site and comiserating of folks who have endured (and enjoyed) some the same experiences I have in my journey of homebrewing. I've brewed everywhere from New England, to the deep south; from Southern California to Washington state (the Navy is good for moving you around) and believe me, each place brings their own quirks.
I began a hop-head, but in the last years of both brewing and consuming, have leaned more in the malt direction. Don't get me wrong-- a good IPA can always flip my lid, but for the most part, a rich, malty elixir can make the day just a little better.
Glad to be aboard,
T
