Rambling, mindless, drunken, yes this is the spot for this comment.

So lets get things started. I'm not happy right now. Here's a recently uploaded picture -> For anyone following me, you know my last parti-gyle inspired batch was less than successful. Lessons learned, moved on with my day and claimed to leave it alone. Guess what I did? I decided that I should listen to those who tell me to "get back on that horse." Well that horse bucks! And down again I go...

Attempted to make a Weizenbock, failed miserably. Long story short: I can only do partial boils because of space and equipment constraints. Thinking I should have taken a gravity reading of wort BEFORE topping up with water to make my batch size, at least give the option of a smaller batch than intended as compared to the wrong batch. Lesson learned.

Still going with a huge spare water batch on the second since it seems I had the worlds worst efficiency on that first attempt despite a 90 minute mash and iodine confirmed conversion. I think this might be a good time to either get a proper 10g mash tun or give up on these fancy attempts and style for the time being.

Currently having a homebrew, relaxing on the itinerary. Looks like I'll be out of brewing for a couple weeks, I'm out of fermenters. So it seems like it's time to wait for the perfectly good beer that I didn't want to make.

With that off my chest, thanks for reading. I hope your next brew day is happier than mine was.
