And this is why android's reliability will never match apple. Running apps made by people who don't know what they're doing affecting your phones performance.

So because Android has an open market that makes the OS inherently more unreliable?

I don't think so.

It’s not like the Android market is this wild jungle of danger where you install an app at your peril. All apps have a review section and a counter for the number of total downloads. This means you can make an informed decision on the stability of said app.

As far as malware is concerned, yes Android may be a bigger target for it (and Google is pretty fastidious in keeping it out of the market and cleaning anything up that gets in), but iOS and the app store aren’t bullet proof citadels of cleanliness either.

The way I see it the android phones come out so fast that if you buy a phone, its going to be out of date within a year or two. I had a droid and was sick of how quickly a new faster stronger version would come out, leaving mine in the dust. Now I have an iPhone I'm never looking back.

Your iphone becomes antiquated just as fast. You're basically saying that just because a new version doesn't come out to remind you of how old yours is, that you don't feel as left in the dust? Iphone hardware doesn't update itself, it gets outdated at the same rate as everything else. :D

As for the whole debate... Android us the right answer for some. Iphone is the right answer for some. No platform is the answer for everyone.

Im not saying that. At least with my IPhone, when the new one comes out I can update my soft ware to make my phone comparable to the newest. Something my droid could not do.

Lol i love my dual screen Droid. Its easy to use and i enjoy the capability of doing professional grade photo shops of my friends in awkward moments
