Was wondering if someone could eyeball this recipe and give me a sense of its profile for an American Stout? Specifically, is this going to be to roasty and not balanced with the caramels.

5 Gallon

Mash Bill (52qt Xtreme Cooler Mash Tun)
9 lbs Pale Ale Malt 2-Row (Briess)
1 lbs Blackprinz (Briess)
1 lbs Caramel Malt - 120L (Briess)
1 lbs Caramel Malt - 40L (Briess)
8.0 oz Chocolate (Briess)
8.0 oz Roasted Barley (Briess)

1 oz Warrior (15%) 60 Min
1 oz Centennial (10%) 10 Min

Beersmith is giving me the projected vitals of 1.067 og, 65.2 IBUS, with a bitterness ratio of .973.

Thanks for all your help.

I'm no expert by any means but I would cut the roasted barley to 4-6 oz if you want less of that character. I also wouldn't want 65 ibu's but that's just me. It's a good stout as is, just saying how I might alter it if I were brewing.
