Ive got an American Pale Ale kit from the Brew hut, here in Denver. Its been in the primary for a couple days. Anybody here have an tips for altering a recipee by adding some goodies into the secondary after a week or two? Ive been into altering recipees lately....like adding fruit, honey oranges, etc...

Lets hear some ideas...

I'd need to know the full recipe. Are you dryhopping? If not, try a couple ounces of your favorite hop.

For a more subtle alteration, soak some oak chips in Jack Daniels (or other favorite liquor, such as tequila or a really peaty Scotch, like Laphroig), then add them to a secondary or keg.

A couple vanilla beans might be interesting in a pale ale.
