Aluminum bottles?

I have saved some lit beer twist top bottles made from aluminum. Will it be ok to use them to store fermented ginger beer? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't reuse twist top bottles for my beer, but that's just my preference. I don't trust that I could get the cap on well enough to withstand the bottle conditioning. I know of people who use them and don't have any problems, I've just read too many people who stress not to use them.

I think you'll be fine. Those caps sit pretty tight. I've never tried them though. I've considered it while drinking from one. I think it was coors. I have had great success with quart sized glass bottles with twist tops. The silicone always seems to sit tight.
