Alternative to speidel plastic fermenter

Does anyone have any experience using these for fermentation? Add a grommet for an airlock and a spigot, seems like you've got two for the price of one speidel fermenter.

There's a thread on here regarding these. A few people have stated that these containers were used to ship prescription drugs in but the prescription drugs were sealed in a bag prior to being placed in these containers.
