I bought an Alaskan Amber clone kit from AHS and i was reading over the recipe that came with it today between my classes because I cant brew until this weekend. What i had not noticed before was that the hops come in pre measured 1 oz bags. The recipe calls for adding 1/2 oz at 60 min and 3/4 oz at 15 min left in the boil. Im glad i caught that. If i was brewing at the same time, i prolly would have dumped the whole oz in for both hop additions. I guess im posting this so that no one else makes this mistake. It seems like an easy one for noobs to make following a recipe from a kit. Just watching out for my fellow brewers :D! Cheers.
