I wonder what came of this
Finally an update on this story. The update is in the bottom half of this article.
In short: the case is on going and the legal fees may cost the accused "close to $20000 before it is over."

Well if that is the case the "accused" would be smart to ask his fellow homebrewers for a donation to his legal defense!! I bet most of us wouldn't mind forking over a few dollars..:rockin:
It's the AHA (American Homebrewer's Assoc) that has been the organized, driving forced behind legalization in the states slow to legalize homebrewing. That's the best bang for your buck if you want to help.

While is the best place to go to help for eventual legalization. I believe he is wanting to help him out directly. I would kick him some cash myself to help with this BS. If anyone knows how to reach out directly to the guy, Post something here and we could put together a fund for him.
It's cool that he at least got a great job out of all this BS of an excuse to mess with folks. I think he shoud get help putting this to rest.
I was an appliance repairman for GE. They paid for me to go to school. I spent lots of their money on a degree. I would have taken a pay cut to go elsewhere and start over.Great job? Maybe, but if I read the article correctly, he has a degree in law. Seems that after the investment in time and money to get that degree, he could have done better than asst. brewer somewhere. But he's clearly chasing his dreams, so good for him I guess. OT I know, but I wonder why people spend so much time getting a degree only to do something completely unrelated.
