It's kind of ridiculous that I can't figure this out (especially because I've done it before) but I can't for the life of me get my airlock to stay on my carboy.

it's day 3 of fermentation and I want to switch out the blowoff tube for the airlock, yet every time I pop the airlock on, even though it's bubbling like normal, the stopper works itself out. Is it too wet from the star san solution I wonder? Should I just leave the blowoff tube in the carboy until I rack it to the secondary?

Please help me out here fellas.

What kind of airlock is it?

I gave up with stoppers on my 5 gallon carboy, they all refuse to stay put wet or dry. I was going to toss it until someone at the store suggested I use a carboy cap.
