So are you guys with multiple burners (HLT, BK) using a reg for each burner or one for the whole system? I imagine you want one for each so you can adjust them independently?

I was thinking I'd go from the tank to pipe and then a reg for each burner and then a flexible line from pipe to burner. Although thinking about it now, it would be just as easy to get two tanks and two regs...no plumbing...

I actually thought about that, but I decided on one regulator and a needle valve for each burner to control the flame...

Regulators (the 0-30's that alot of people are using) are like $30 and the needle valves are only $8 each... plus I like the precise control they will give me

I just ordered the 30 psi reg/hose and the brass needle valve. Running 2 high pressure burners and the 6" ring from Agri. Hopefully this does the trick.

I use one regulator that I keep fully open at all times. Each burner has a ball valve and a needle valve.

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing. the ball valve to control the on/off type control and the needle valve for the precision.

for what its worth i ended up using these burners and I have a lowpressure regulator hooked up to all the automated parts under the HLT, MLT... I then bought a 0-10 psi regulator and run that one under the boil kettle. It works great and gives me plenty of flame for 10 gallon batches in my keggle. I wish at times that I could get a bit more flame under the other two burners though... I may buy a 0-5 psi regulator for all that stuff one day but right now everything is working well enough.
