Has anyone used aeration with a nebulizer pump to add O2 to your fermenter?

I've done this with my past few brews and the only downside I've had so far is large bubbles that just seem to add foam to the top of the carboy. Would adding a 0.5 micron diffuser stone make this a sufficient aeration method, or is mine just fine?

According to Palmer, an airstone with an aquarium pump is good for 8ppm when the pump has been ran for 30 minutes. Carboy shaking and pouring from the kettle into the fermenter are also good for 8ppm.

I don't know how much of a pressure drop there is across the stone. I know my nebulizer does not deal well when back pressure is placed on the compressor.

Yeah, I had one go up not too long ago. I suspect it was due to back pressure. I'm thinking about experimenting with a voltage control to adjust the air volumes instead.
