Hi, is it ok to drain the cooled wort from my brew kettle to the fermenter from a couple of feet higher to aerate it? like just open the valve on the brew kettle without a hose and catch it with the fermenter having a 2ft stream before it enters the kettle.

There are spray tips you can attach to the hose for even more aeration:

This is exactly what I do and I've never had any issues.
