I wanted to start a new thread on this, because I can't find one. I just took the entrance exam portion to become a BJCP Judge. I wanted to start to give advice and maybe keep a list of what to do or study for. The test was harder than I thought it was going to be. I did study but a lot of what I studied wasn't in the exam. Luckily I did pass on my first try. My first advice would be,
.
A) Study and memorize the style categories and sub categories profiles (Aroma, Flavor, mouth feel, ingredients

B) Study what each off flavor cause how it happens and can be prevented

C) Found a great site to study and practice taking tests. www.quizlet.com and search BJCP

D) More of a warning, there is more multiple choice and multiple answer questions than I expected, and also a lot of comparing two different styles

Feel free to add on to this list, there are a lot more things that could be added, just starting a new one
