Anyone tried to adjust the tension on chest freezer hinge springs? I’m in the middle of a coffin box keezer build and I’m wondering if it’s worth pursuing. I doubt that it would be possible to counter all of the extra weight, but it might compensate for some of the weight, which would be good, right? It looks pretty straight forward. A spring, a threaded rod, a nut. Unfortunately it’s in a pretty tight c channel with not much room to maneuver. Maybe a ratcheting box-end wrench?
