Another noob question for you all.

Let's say you've had a brew in secondary for a while, like a month or two. Would it be necessary to add more yeast on bottling day? Or would there still be enough cells floating around to carb still?

AND.... if adding yeast IS necessary, whats the process there.. just toss a whole packet of dry in there or what?
 
If your beer's been in secondary for more than six months, then you'd consider adding more yeast, but for a month or few there's still millions of yeast cells in suspension.
 
Do you think it would be necessary to repitch if finning agents like gelatin were used in the secondary?
