I recently brewed a 2.5gallon batch of Scottish Export Ale for my 2.5 gallon keg, but missed on the volume by quite a bit. I ended up with 3.5 gallons of wort after the boil with surprisingly good efficiency so it was very close to my target OG. All 3.5 gallons went into my primary yesterday.

Recipe:
7.5lb MO
0.25lb Roasted

0.5oz EKG @60
0.5oz EKG @15
0.25oz EKG @ 1

OG: 1.054
Yeast: Nottingham

I have 1 gallon growlers that I use to do wine and experimental batches, I was thinking of adding some soaked wood chips and cheapish Scotch to it to bottle off a few bombers. I saw 2oz/Gallon recommended for Bourbon, so I would do something similar with like Glenfiddich 12 or Johnnie Walker Black.

Any scotch lovers ever tried this? If not I will update with results in a few weeks!
