Hi,
I'm thinking of adding a dozen granny smith apples (sanitised and mashed in a blender) to a Brigalow apple cider kit with 1kg of dextrose. I'm already going to substitute 4L of the recommended 17L water for pure apple juice. I'm aiming for a dry cider, my question is will the addition of the apples improve the dryness and tartness of the brew?
Cheers
