I am brewing now and need to know this. I am getting conflicting information. Do you add it to the fermentor or the last 15 min of the boil? Thanks! :mug:

If you're brewing beer, just add it late in the boil. I've been adding Fermax with Irish moss and boiling for 20 minutes with good results.

In my experience, lag phase lasts maybe 12 hours if you use yeast nutrient + a starter. Even shorter if you aerate with pure O2.

DAP is good, but if you can get something with yeast extract it's better. It supplies some of the goodies that the yeast would otherwise have to synthesize themselves. Regarding O2... I used one of the welding canisters and only was able to oxygenate 2 batches. The things only contain 40g of O2. By my lazy tipsy math, that's something like 30L. Disappointing.

well in fact i have some of the Servomyces from danstar thats better i think but ive never try it before, im going to go with this tomorrow
